Your skin contains natural oils that keep it naturally moisturized. This is why you need to be extra gentle while cleaning your skin, so you don't overdo it and strip your skin of its oils.

3. Take Lukewarm Showers

The natural elements can damage your skin if you don't protect it. Use sunscreen even during the winter season to protect your skin from the sun's harmful rays. If you're going to be outdoors for long periods, use a sunscreen with an SPF factor of 15 or more. Not using sunscreen can lead to premature aging and skin cancer.
To protect your skin from the wind, use moisturizers or lotions that contain ceramides. Similarly, avoid going outside in extremely cold temperatures.
